Terms of Use for Spook Box
Spook Box is a paid app with no separate membership system. Optional sync and some platform behavior depend on Apple services.
1. About these terms
These Terms of Use apply to the Spook Box app, updates, support pages, and related materials provided by H9B3.
By downloading, purchasing, installing, or using Spook Box, you agree to these Terms of Use.
2. Service description
- Spook Box is a private vault and file management app for iOS and macOS.
- The app may provide secure app entry with a PIN, biometric authentication, and automatic lock.
- The app may let you organize files and folders, search, favorite items, use Trash, preview supported files, import from Photos, and manage downloads.
- The built-in browser may provide tabs, bookmarks, local browsing history, and saving downloads into the vault.
- Optional iCloud sync may synchronize supported data across devices signed into the same iCloud account.
- Feature availability may vary by platform, operating system behavior, permissions, or future updates.
3. No registration and account responsibility
- Spook Box does not require a separate H9B3 account, username, or password.
- You are responsible for your Apple account, device security, iCloud settings, backups, permissions, and sharing choices.
- You are also responsible for maintaining access to your device-level authentication methods and your app lock credentials.
4. User content and permissions
- You retain responsibility for the legality, ownership, and permissions associated with any files, photos, folders, links, downloads, or other content you import, store, preview, or share through the app.
- You must have the right to access and share the content you handle in Spook Box.
- You are responsible for reviewing what you move to Trash, permanently delete, export, or share with others.
5. iCloud sync, Photos, and browser features
- If you enable iCloud sync, supported files and metadata may sync through Apple CloudKit within your personal iCloud account.
- Bookmarks may sync through iCloud when sync is enabled. Browsing history is intended to remain local to the app instance.
- Importing from Apple Photos, using file pickers, sharing items, or previewing files depends on Apple platform permissions and services.
- Sync timing, file availability, and import behavior may vary based on network conditions, Apple service status, and device state.
6. Prohibited conduct
- You must not use Spook Box for unlawful purposes or to store, transmit, or share illegal, infringing, malicious, or harmful content.
- You must not interfere with the normal operation of the app or attempt unauthorized copying, reverse engineering, circumvention, or modification except where applicable law clearly permits it.
- You must not use the app in a way that violates another person's rights, privacy, intellectual property, or applicable law.
7. Intellectual property
All rights in the app, software, design, text, support materials, and related branding belong to H9B3 or the applicable rights holder. These Terms grant only a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable right to use the app.
8. Payments and App Store terms
- Spook Box may be offered as a paid app through the App Store.
- Pricing, taxes, billing, refunds, cancellations, and payment handling may be governed by Apple and the payment method provider used through the App Store.
- H9B3 does not operate a separate membership billing or points system for the app.
9. Updates, availability, and support
- H9B3 may modify, improve, suspend, restrict, or discontinue all or part of the app for operational, security, technical, legal, or platform-related reasons.
- H9B3 does not guarantee that any specific feature will remain available forever or work identically on every device and file type.
- Support is provided through the support page and email contact described on the support website.
10. Privacy
Your use of the app is also subject to the Privacy Policy.
11. Disclaimers and limitation of liability
- To the maximum extent permitted by law, H9B3 is not liable for losses caused by Apple service outages, account restrictions, network failures, device failures, sync delays, third-party actions, data corruption, or events outside H9B3's reasonable control.
- H9B3 is not responsible for losses resulting from your settings, sharing decisions, deletion actions, forgotten credentials, device loss, or poor account management.
- H9B3 does not guarantee uninterrupted service, universal file compatibility, or recovery of permanently deleted content.
- If H9B3 is found liable, total liability will be limited to the amount actually paid for the app to the extent permitted by applicable law, except where such limitation is not allowed.
12. Governing law
These Terms of Use are governed by the laws of the Republic of Korea, except where mandatory law provides otherwise.
